An RDN is in individual who typically holds a Master’s degree, underwent a rigourous internship covering topics in medical nutrition, community nutrition, and other interesting fields. They MUST pass a licensing exam and maintain their credential by completing continued education every year. They are the ONLY qualified individuals to deal with the nutritional management of diseases and illness.

Personally, I’ve been in the wellness/exercise field for over 10 years. My yoga instruction covers classes like vinyasa, hatha, slow flow, restore, sculpt, and meditation. I also hold a certification in exercise. 

My nutritional experience covers arenas of community nutrition, antepartum and postpartum nutrition, as well as many years working in a hospital as a clinical dietitian. I have also been in private practice for many years.

I have worked with clients who have survived cancer, are living with depression, have newly been diagnosed with prediabetes or diabetes, and many more chronic conditions.
